Equip Expo 2023 Attendee Interviews Part 3 of 3
It's a carburetor engine. Totally normal to not ramp up speed instantly when not yet warmed up.
I picked up one of these 30 year old Japanese Hondas for $10 at a yard sale still fires right up and runs like a top
Thank you so much for teaching us how to do it the right way, my local dealer has these in stock. I’m very interested in purchasing these equipment. What is your opinion? Thanks again. Have a blessed day.!
Best video I have seen so far regarding how to use this product.
I’m looking on Home Depot and they have the dlm-2100cs, what does cs stand for?
I think it stands for crappy system! 😂 Honestly I don’t know but that’s what I would call it. Watch my honest review of this mower.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess I had to look it up on echo’s website. It comes in three styles dlm-2100bt (mower only), dlm 2100cs (comes with standard charger & a battery) and dlm 2100r2-2 (2 batteries and rapid charger)
I’m thinking about doing a lawn care business at 16. Years old to make some good money.
Sorry, that looks totally miserable.
I am about to buy this trimmer and am torn between these two models.... Great video! This has helped with my decision!
People and their this is better, that is better. The FACT is that a grinding stone is better because is faster and far cheaper leaving an edge that is as sharp as you need it. It is pointless to have, what some people think is a razor edge, in the environment that a lawnmower blade spins in. Fussiness will get you nothing but less money in your wallet with the five times as much you will pay for flap discs. Go ahead and pay extra for an imaginary benefit if you hate your money so bad.
Let me know in the comments below what you think of the Milwaukee M18 Hatchet pruning saw.
I'd love to buy one of these, but I've got nowhere to store it. It makes more sense to rent one from Home Depot when I do my annual top dressing.
How made this cool shirts made and who did it and how can I get it made
only need to go across it once or twice not 500
While I find these "reciprocators" interesting, the price is just atrocious! The attachment in this video is 399USD at Home Depot. For Canadians, if/when it becomes available, better be thinking about 600CDN after taxes! Just for the attachment alone! In Atlantic Canada, where I am, more like $650 after HST. I also wonder about how these things can be sharpened?
This looks like a toro time master in some ways
Very helpful! Thank you
That's not exponetial. It's highly linear.
I just finished edging my yard. Pretty sure its the first time this yard has ever been done. What a mess but this thing works awesome. My sidewalks gained 4-5 inches per side!😂
That’s awesome. Thanks for watching.
Any idea on runtime with that battery? I jave the m12 grease gun and pruners and love them both.
No unfortunately I have not been able to find any official info on battery run time and this video was the first time I used it. When searching out reviews on the Milwaukee website all I could see is many mentioned that the battery lasts a long time. Not surprising. Hedge trimmers are by far the most battery efficient when it comes to OPE tools and leaf blowers are the worst. Everything else sits in the middle somewhere. Thanks for watching.
I agree, our greenworks 82v hedge trimmers run forever on a charge!
Let me know in the comments below what you think of the Milwaukee M12 hedge trimmer kit.
Can the hedge trimmer be used in the rain because I know the mower can't.
I don’t know for sure. I know some of my Milwaukee outdoor tools like the string trimmer have a sticker with a picture of a rain cloud 🌧️ and an X through it. I’ve never seen any official water resistant designation on anything or the website. So I’d assume it’s all not waterproof. With that said many people have told me they have used Milwaukee tools in the rain with no issues. I filmed this video because it was not raining at the time. I be honest, I immediately started wondering when the tool and battery got wet from the first bush I tried trimming. 😂 Thanks for watching.
Seems pointless unless using at a 45 on a thin space like a sidewalk
Tell me the best place to buy this stuff.
how is the noise generated by the 770t compared with the 9010t? I'm worried if i buy the 9010t my neighbors will complain.
The 9010T is extremely loud. It’s a higher pitched tone. The 770 while still loud is not near as loud and the tone is a bit lower and makes it a bit more tolerable and still packs plenty of power. I prefer the 770 for the weight and sound. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess many thanks for the reply, it cemented my decision in buying one. 👍
why don't you use rotary tool to fit Milwaukee string trimmer attachment onto RYOBI expand it 40v. to make a square drive onto Ryobi expand it, Use a Rotary tool to make a square onto Milwaukee attachment for Ryobi Expand it.
So I just bought one on Saturday fully charged battery and was able to cut a front and backyard both sides of the house and of course we had rain for three days was able to cut the backyard and one side of the house before the battery went down. How did hell in Texas and had no problem starting up multiple times and really clipping the grass at a nice level and into a much smaller mulch than my Honda. The 60 W battery charges up extremely fast.
I’m sorry my friend, if you call that dirty you ain’t workin’ hard enough.😉😆
Hope the blade quality is better than the Husqvarna version, which I bought for my 535LK! The power unit itself is fantastic, but the attachment is poor! Also, in this years catalogue, it's priced at £479! 😮
How does it handle hitting rocks?
Alright. Just bounces of them the same as other cultivators I’ve used. Thanks for watching.
i love it tall weeds
This is brilliant!
Interesting idea. For me I mulch a lot more than bag so may not make sense for me if the baffle is there for mulching capability.
I have a maxx, a plus and a value. The Maxx is six years old and has never given me any trouble. Of course, it’s mounted in a battery box in my trunk and it looks brand new. The Plus is two years old and is in my truck’s engine bay and it has been solid. The Value is in my DD and I left the lights on one day recently and killed the battery. I have recharged it and it seems to have some trouble holding the charge - the battery is a year old. I will probably replace it with a Maxx
Does it leave wheel marks if lawn is soggy?
I am disappointed that the cyberlite doesn’t have a power inlet as well as interchangeable battery sizes on both sides. I think this means I will go ahead and buy the standard charger and cybercapsule. I will get the Cyberlite down the track, just need to see how my usage goes and how amenable my clients are with accessing their AC.
I’m guessing although it shares alot of the external casing the internals are probably all different to do DC to DC charging. The Kress batteries have been great overall with impressive run times and quick charging. I suggest starting with a couple of batteries to see how they do for you in different conditions for the tools you’re using. Also something to keep in mind. Kress do offer a free 10 day trial. Head to your Kress dealer and they should be able to set you up with some tools and batteries to see how it works for you. Thanks for watching.
I agree it's a money grab that's not needed , could have made a all in one unit
I cut a lot of brush, and definitely like that it's MUCH safer than my current carbide tooth brush blade... but I just can't justify the $400 price tag 🤦♂️
The guy that says going away from the edge doesn't know what he is talking about. Grinding towards the edge leaves less metal rolled over that has to be ground off. There is no reason to have a rounded edge with a grinding wheel. Use the grinding wheel correctly.
Take the guard off you don’t need it
Great, great video as always. Q1: having a cyber capsule make redundant to have the 11 amp battery, right?
It depends. That the awesome thing about Kress. All their batteries are interchangeable and can be used in many tools. Every business will be different so you can buy what works for you and add as you need to. My current setup is using the 11Ah batteries in the mower where the added weight is not an issue. I’m also now using the smaller nano batteries in the trimmer which makes it about 4lb lighter. That now frees up the cyber pack 4Ah batteries I was using in the trimmer to now use in the backpack blower which is awesome, because you get backpack blower power but much lighter than even a gas backpack blower. I use the cyber lite to charge the small batteries as needed. But honestly the Kress commercial batteries are so good I would advise to start with just some batteries first and see how many lawns you can do first with different conditions and blades. Then either add more batteries or a cyber lite and cyber capsule. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess thank you Julio. By the way how long it take to charge the cyber capsule?
Let me know in the comments below what you think of the new Kress Commercial Cyber Lite charger and Cyber Capsule battery.
Better advantage of a gas unit, if it breaks down you can easily fix it , for electric units it’s pretty hard to fix them.
It’s been a few years since I did this video. Technology has advanced so much and in my opinion battery string trimmers are far superior to gas units now with many advantages like No gas, no two stroke oil, no spark plugs and air filters, no maintenance, no hard cold starts, no vapour lock in hot weather, no noise, no smell etc. once you start using a good quality commercial battery trimmer you won’t ever want to go back to gas. The only advantage that still remains for gas now is they are cheaper to buy but that will change in time. Thanks for watching.
4 years later and your advice is still spot on. I'm in year one of mowing with two other partners. I bought a new Time Master, Stihl FS91R trimmer, and the small Stihl backpack blower. My partners both bought 36" walk behind mowers AND 48" standers. As a business we have right around 20 customers (we have full-time day jobs) and one HOA that is 3.3 acres. We split the profit 3 ways. They have spent far more money to earn the same amount as me. They are able to finish lawns faster, but at the end of the day, it will take more than a year for them to earn back what they've spent on mowers. So, even though the bigger mowers look cool, realize that you can still make good money with a smaller, push mower.
I love small lawns. I’m in and out relatively quickly and the profit margin is much better with such minimal investment. I’m pondering getting rid of big mowers altogether and just doing small lawns only. Especially now with all battery equipment. Thanks for watching.
You should try a Scag 21 inch 224 cc.
I use a flap disc, I use a 60 grit. Been doing it for years, never had any problems.
Any updates on the ZX4 release dates? Did they give any indication?
Not to bad.
I just bought this exact aerator used for $800. Getting customers booked for the fall and I know I’m going to more than pay it off. Investing in the business growth is the way to go!
Sounds like a great buy. Congrats. Mine was an ex rental that I paid $1000 for 19 years ago. Still going strong and making me money every spring and fall. Thanks for watching.
Burn the push mower, purchase a 32 or 36 stander
I had a 32” stander. Barely used it. Way to heavy with skinny rear tires for here in the rainy pacific north west. In the dense city with small properties that I do, push mowers are profitable all day long and allow me to mow in the rain. Thanks for watching.
Im keen to see that charger with a 48vlt batter and inverter set up , the kress cyber tank is 48v 100ah. So i wanna see a half prive version home built
I just bought this mower. It’s very heavy compared to my time master 30 inch but it has a lot more power so it won’t bog down under as much. I still think the time is the better mower if the grass is short and light for sure
